Change a Child's Story
Not able to become a CASA volunteer? That's okay! We need friends of VFC who can help out in other ways. VFC aims to provide a CASA volunteer for every child who is assigned to us by the juvenile judge. Your partnership will bring us one step closer to achieving this goal.

Necessity Tote Bag Project - When a child is removed from their home, they
typically leave with nothing – no clothes, toiletry items, toys, or even a bag
to bring what little they have with them. Through generous donations from
community members, Voices for Children is able to provide some of these
items for every child that enters into foster care ages 5 and older through
our Necessity Bag Project. We provide tote bags, hygiene items, combs,
toothbrushes, shampoo and body wash. We always needs donations for our
Tote Bag Project. This is a great project for churches, Sunday school groups,
departments in business, civic groups, etc. to take on as a project.
Court Bag Project - One of the hardest things for a child about being in the
foster care system is having to attend court. A child may arrive at noon and
their case may not be heard by the judge until that afternoon. Most of the
time they just sit in the lobby- bored. To make things a little easier for them,
we put together what we call "court bags". Each bag contains crayons,
coloring books, toys, snacks, and little games for each of the kids in court
that day. Voices for Children is always in need of items for our Court Bag
Project. This is a great project for churches, Sunday school groups,
departments in business, civic groups, etc. to take on as a project.
